Stone Wool Insulation
Stone Wool Insulation is a consistent density, high strength, rock mineral wool insulation board with a water-repellent additive specifically designed for use in external wall insulation systems. It is manufactured to be easy to handle and fix to a substrate. Stone Wool has the added advantage of being an ‘open vapour’ insulating material.
It is therefore more breathable than other insulation systems and also has excellent fire retardant properties. Making this board an excellent choice for domestic and multi-storey commercial buildings

Stone Wool is made from a non-combustible inorganic rock wool, defined as mineral wool in BS 3533: 1981 and is manufactured in accordance with BSI Quality Assurance Standard BS EN ISO 9001: 2000.
When fixing a rigid insulation board onto any substrate Wetherby Building Systems Ltd always recommend you conduct a pull out test to ensure your fixing anchor is suitable.
