Phenolic Insulation is manufactured by a process in which a plastic foam forms an insulating core between two flexible tissue faced layers. It has a high closed cell content and fine cell structure.
Phenolic board should be kept dry. If using in conjunction with a thin coat render finish, board should be fully embedded using a bedding adhesive, as well as the usual fixing pattern.
When fixing a rigid insulation board onto any substrate Wetherby Building Systems Ltd always recommend you conduct a pull out test to ensure your fixing anchor is suitable.
